Conquering Armies is a landmark 1970s heroic fantasy comic book created by writer Jean-Pierre Dionnet and artist Jean-Claude Gal. It originally debuted in France in the seminal magazine Métal Hurlant before being translated into English and published in the United States by Heavy Metal Communications in 1977 and 1978.
